Nonetheless, if the leaked information and hints about GTA 6 are to be believed, the delay will be well worth it. The upcoming entry in the franchise promises a vast and familiar map, unique protagonists, and much more. So, uncover all the details we know so far about Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6).

1. Release Date: When is GTA 6 Coming Out ?

In February 2022, The Rockstar Games,developers of the Grand Theft Auto, officially confirmed that  "next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway" through a News media  post. Although which announcement was primarily about community updates for GTA V, it concluded with a subtle mention of the franchise's future.

Later in June 2022, Rockstar Games released an official statement emphasizing their commitment to the development of GTA VI. They revealed that all their resources were being invested in this project, putting other endeavors like the GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption remaster on hold until further notice.

Unfortunately, neither of these dedicated announcements brought us any closer to a release date. However, we can thank Chris Klippel, a renowned GTA leaker, for shedding some light on the launch date. According to Klippel, GTA 6 is unlikely to release before the last few months of 2024. While he is not directly affiliated with Rockstar, his track record of reliable GTA 5 leaks adds credibility to his claims.

 Possibility of a May 2023 Release

While it seems unlikely, some fans are speculating that GTA 6 might surprise everyone with a release in May 2023. This speculation arose after Brian Zampella, the alleged voice actor for Jason, one of the game's protagonists, posted a photo on Instagram. The picture depicted him wearing a Hawaiian t-shirt, surrounded by palm trees.

Since GTA 6 is centered around Vice City, which is based on Miami, many people interpret Brian's post as a significant hint about the game. If their assumptions prove correct, we could indeed see a potential release this month.  2. Possible Delays for GTA 6 ?  

Similar to the development of any AAA video game title, GTA 6 faces various challenges that can impact its progress and release. One major obstacle was the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought the world to a halt and caused internal conflicts within Rockstar Games, leading to a reevaluation of their company policies and team restructuring.

Considering these developments and Rockstar's commitment to female representation, the leaked information about the characters can be considered highly likely.

As for the story and plotline of GTA 6, details are limited. However, reliable game leaker Tom Henderson revealed that the game will be set in modern-day Vice City. This aligns with the leaked gameplay footage showing Jason entering a Vice City metro train. Speculations suggest that Lucia and Jason will collaborate to build a drug empire in Vice City, but further information is scarce.

When it comes to gameplay and graphics, official announcements from Rockstar are yet to be made. However, leaked gameplay footage provides insights. Movement and driving mechanics have been improved, resulting in smoother and more natural character movements compared to GTA 5. Hand-to-hand combat and gunplay have also seen enhancements.
